Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith. (Philippians 3:1 NLT)
This verse is on my mind. It reminded me that whatever happens today, or any day to take a moment and rejoice in The Lord. In the Greek it means to be conscious & delighted in God's grace. How has God shown me grace? With my husband, house, kids, friends, family? If I think on the blessings, the positive thoughts will over power the negative thoughts & be a sure, unfailing, safeguard for me.
So today I'm making a conscious effort to rejoice in The Lord, to count my blessings in the midst of easy & stressful situations. In writing this post I've already put this into practice twice as I was interrupted & I didn't get bugged at all. I found something to be thankful for & I stayed at peace!!
Like when we were talking on the phone and we both got interrupted a million and two times? Hahahaha! Pray for me and I'll pray for you. :) Love you sis!
