Chili cheese dip is a perfect addition to the Football Game Day menu or a fast afternoon snack. This is a quick throw together and is SUPER tasty! Today I actually whipped it up with leftovers from taco night.
Ingredients:
2/3 block of cream cheese
1 can prepared chili (I have used Hormel chili w/beans,1 cup homemade chili, or 1 cup combined ground beef + chili beans.)
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Heat cream cheese to room temperature by placing in a pie pan (or 8x8 baking dish) & microwave for 30 seconds. Spread out in an even layer. Next spread the chili over the cream cheese. Last, sprinkle the chili with Cheddar cheese. Put pan in the toaster oven for 2 toast cycles, or until cheese melts. Or place dish in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. (For a 9x13 pan, double this recipe.) Serve warm with tortilla chips. Enjoy!!!
And....you may want to remove your scarf, it gets a little messy, HA HA HA!
