Well there you have it, Emma singing her favorite song! Every time we are in the car, "Mom can we listen to Our God is Greater?!" She loves that song. There is something so sweet about hearing her sing at the top of her lungs the truth of who our God is. "Our God is GREATER or God is STRONGER, God you HIGHER than any other! Our God is HEALER, AWESOME IN POWER, Our God, Our GOD!"
I wanted to share a precious story that happened tonight. Emma fell asleep on the way to church (we attend the Saturday night service). When I woke her to take her to nursery she was sad and only wanted mama. I was about to drop her off but she hung to me close, I had the idea (or maybe it was the Holy Spirit) to ease her into nursery by letting her sit with me during worship. I have only done that once or twice before. On our way into the sanctuary I whispered a prayer "Lord, I know this is kinda last minute, but Emma doesn't do this with me very often, anyway you could have them sing Our God is Greater? It is her favorite, you don't have to, but it would be so special for her. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Now our worship team hasn't done that song in months.... What do you think the 2nd song they played was? You know it, OUR GOD IS GREATER!! When I heard the intro I was so excited and Emma lit up when she realized what it was. She was singing along with me, loud and proud, and I was so thankful that God answered my prayer and included my little girl in the worship for the night. It was special to me and I just wanted to share with you that our God really is greater!!
