Ceasar Salad with Homemade Ceasar Dressing

If you like garlic you are going to LOVE this salad!  A good friend of mine brought this to a dinner party one night and I have been in love with it ever since!  It is one of my husbands favorite salad I make.  Super easy, not a lot of ingredients, most of which you usually have on hand.

Salad Ingredients:
1 large leafy head of romaine lettuce
Fresh grated parmesan cheese (Trader Joes & Plum Market have a parmesan made from raw cheese)
Croutons (optional)
Tomatoes (optional)
5 minute boiled egg
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 lemon

Dressing, mix all together:
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sace
1/4 teaspoon dried mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Place egg in pot with water, bring to a boil.  Keep it boiling for 5 minutes- no longer, remove from heat, run under cold water.  After egg is cooled, mash up in a bowl with minced garlic(egg yolk should be slightly mushy).  Cut up lettuce.  Toss lettuce with egg/garlic mixture.  Pour dressing over salad & toss.  Just before serving squeeze lemon wedge over salad, toss.  Last sprinkle with tomatoes (if using), croutons (if using) and freshly grated parmesan cheese.  Serve with extra parmesan cheese.
